Having qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 after studying at Nottingham Trent University, I joined Thomson & Bancks Solicitors as a Consultant in January 2016 and became a Partner in July 2018. I previously worked at another Worcestershire law firm where I was a Director and Head of the Wills & Estates team. I am experienced in dealing with Wills, Inheritance Tax (IHT) planning advice, Powers of Attorney, applications to the Court of Protection, Trusts and administering estates. I have a particular interest in the administration of high net worth estates, including those with elements of agricultural and business property relief. I am professional and efficient, always with an approachable manner. I am a member of the Law Society’s Probate Section, a Member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (previously known as Solicitors for the Elderly - SFE) and I am a Dementia Friend through the Alzheimer’s Society.

    A difficult time made a little easier

    Our family used Thomson & Bancks for the administration of our late Mothers Estate. Throughout the process, which was complicated at times, T&B were professional, helpful and understanding.     Positive Outcomes

    My first impression was being patiently listened to. Being able to contact the staff if i needed advice or explanations, this gave me reassurance and confidence. Some legal terms or paragraphs i could not understand, when i asked about them Staff patiently explained or wrote down notes for me to read. I was quiet slow in filling in the legal document, eventually i would get a letter saying if i needed help or an explanation to contact a staff member
