Fantastic hard work and empathy
Michael helped our son when falsely accused of a horrendous crime. We've been through 6 months of absolute devastation and Michael did everything he could to support us and write up reps to forward to the CPS which were very precise and detailed. I was accused of the most vile and life-destroying offences imaginable. At the time, I felt completely lost. I thought that because I knew I was innocent, everything would quickly sort itself out — the police had my phone, so in my head the truth would come out straight away. My duty solicitor told me there was “nothing else I could do,” which left me feeling helpless and directionless.
That advice could have ruined my life.

They didn’t judge me, didn’t dismiss me, and didn’t make assumptions. Instead, they immediately set up a WhatsApp group chat, so communication was constant, clear, and human.
