    Writing a will

I instructed Emily Izzo to draw up a will for me. From the very first video call I felt at ease. It's quite a process to undertake but everything was explained and I felt my wishes would be carried out as I wanted. I must also say that Victoria Walsh was amazing and answered my queries and kept me informed at every stage.

    Knowledgeable, professional and caring

Emily helped initially with my own and my husbands wills prior to our marriage - having a blended family meant that our requirements weren't exactly straight forward but Emily explained the options available to ensure that we put in place exactly what was needed. We then asked Emily to help with my Dad's affairs and Lasting Power of Attorney when we could see his capacity was diminishing - I can't explain how compassionate and caring Emily was when speaking with my Dad, taking care to explain in detail what she was putting in place and how/when it would be used in the future. Nothing was too much trouble and I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others

Thank you so much for such a thoughtful review, Helene. We are heartened to hear that Emily could provide both the technical expertise needed for your family’s wills and the deep compassion required for your father’s Lasting Power of Attorney. Dealing with diminishing capacity is an incredibly sensitive time for any family, and we are so glad Emily’s caring approach helped put your father at ease. We will be sure to share your kind words with her—she will be moved to know she made such a meaningful difference for your family.
