    Purchase of bungalow

    The solicitor that dealt with the purchase was Charlotte Fairfax. We received an email on 1st June 2026 with the client care package to start the process once we had viewed the property and a price agreed via the estate agent. We completed on 31st July 2026, 9 weeks later. Admittedly the property was vacant and we had nothing to sell, so, no chain as such. But still, very impressed with Charlotte and the team at Merritts Solicitors to "get the job done".

    Very professional

    We began purchasing a property in January of this year. After the initial flurry of activity our sale went very quiet and by the end of April we needed to move , but nothing was happening. I emailed Charlotte Fairfax and explained our situation. She immediately gave our sale all of her attention and got the other side to move forward quickly and smoothly. We moved in in early May . We will be forever grateful to Charlotte and her team, special thanks also to Louise Lampton. If you want to the move handled by a true professional who is also a very polite lady.     We recently used Merritts to complete our remortgage after experiencing ongoing delays and issues with a previous firm which caused huge amounts of stress. From the outset, Charlotte and her secretary Eleanor were professional, responsive, and efficient.
