James Pantling-Skeet helped us prepare my daughters EHCP to gain a good placement for the future. He was patient, extremely knowledgeable, had brilliant contacts, helped withe emotional upheavel and organised meetings with all parites too keep everything on track. We had the best outcome we could have had due to his professionalism. He was very caring too.

Everything you would want in Solicitor!
For over a year (maybe even two, time flies!) we have been working with James trying to negotiate a tricky situation with the local authority in relation to the care needs of our child who has complex needs. James and Daisy (paralegal) have been incredible throughout and we are eternally grateful to them for helping us achieve the outcome we were looking for. Thorough, responsive and ready to roll with every punch that was thrown our way. We would not have the current outcome without them. Their professionalism is unmatched but also their empathy and kindness has been a breath of fresh air and made the process that bit easier.

EHCP and specialist school provision
James and Daisy couldn't have been more helpful with supporting us to receive an appropriate school placement in our daughter's EHCP. We were talked through all options, possible outcomes and the costs of each to make a fully informed decision. Having such strong expert support with a great deal of experience made a huge difference to our approach and we would recommend them to other parents in a similar situation.

Expert EHCP Provision Support
Thanks to James Pantling-Skeet and Daisy Fox-Clarkin at Boyes Turner, our son will finally be able a attend an amazing school, that can cater for both his academic and his complex medical needs. It wasn't an easy journey, but we feel our son has now got access to support that will enable him to prosper. Their knowledgable, efficient and caring support helped us through this stressful time. Placement
James, Laxmi and Daisy worked tirelessly on Patrick’s case and were thoroughly professional at all times. Support for our disabled daughter
We have had a very positive experience with Boyes Turner - we had had many months of difficulties with our daughter's previous care provider, alongside our local authority making decisions about future care that were against her best interests. The advice and interventions from our solicitor at Boyes Turner, James Pantling-Skeet, were invaluable in arranging the transfer of care to a much better care provider that we had identified, rather than the choice of our local authority. Several months on, it is an immense relief that we finally have care provision that is meeting the needs of our daughter.

Placement
James, Laxmi and Daisy, worked so Patrick’s case, due to his very complex profile we had to go through three tribunals. They all worked so hard to secure our son’s placement.

Fantastic advice and service
I was recommended James as I was facing difficulties with my local authority adhering to statutory deadlines to secure my sons school placement and issuing his EHCP. We wanted to challenge the LA with their timeframes which resulted in them trying to offer us a school that was not suitable for my son needs. After our initial consultation with James we felt empowered and confident to push back and not give up on what we knew would be best for our son.
After a lot of back and forth we eventually secured the right school for my son and I don’t feel we could have done this without James help and support.
James as well as his secretary Daisy were always quick to respond to my emails and would keep in touch regularly via video calls so we could gather evidence and agree best approaches as things progressed.
I am very pleased we used their services and would not hesitate to use them again if I needed to in the future.

Excellent experience from start to finish. In what was an overwhelming situation trying to get my son into the right education setting, James took all of the stress off my shoulders and won the case against our local council.
My son is now thriving in his new school and I know, without james' hard work, he would not have got there.
