I could not describe enough in words how amazing and professional Jessica and Phil from Fiona Bruce are. From the point I engaged their services they helped me navigate complex legal processes (including transfer of equity that included Help-to-Buy) and explained to me every step of the way what would happened and what needed to be done. Even at points were I seemed hysterical, Jessica and Phil were there and responded efficiently (email and phone calls) to my (sometimes endless) inquiries. To anyone who needs solicitors - family and conveyancing, I could not recommend them enough!!!. Thank you Phil and Jessica, I would not be where I am now without you. Thank you!!.

Divorce and financial
Phillip was very accommodating and reassuring at a very hard time for myself, although the other side caused many delays mr porter was very efficient in communicating

Excellent - highly recommend
Philip Porter was excellent in navigating through a difficult divorce. He was wise, strategic, pragmatic, responsive and effective. Without Philip, the divorce would never have been concluded as quickly or fairly as it was. He was adept in minimising difficulties. He is a very safe, skilled and experienced pair of hand, and I highly recommend.

Divorce Proceedings with a Highly knowledgeable and approachable
I engaged with @fionabruce and in particular Philip Porter at the start of what appeared on the outset a fairly straight forward divorce. As i have learned this is very rarely the case, and it developed into a very stressful bitter and acrimonious divorce. Throughout the extended divorce period Philip and Pauline have been very professional and have worked very hard to keep costs under control whilst still offering the best legal advice. The counsel provided and recommended by Phillip has the same professional work ethic and whilst i can never say a divorce proceeding is pleasurable, i can say that the team @fionabruce and Liverpool chambers have made sure that they delivered the best for me throughout. I would have no reservations in recommending them to anyone who needs this service. Great team who delivered a great result and its with the greatest respect and gratitude to them i hope that i never need their services in the future.

Excellent Practice
I have engaged with Fiona Bruce Solicitors on a few legal family matters. I have found the service to be excellent, the positive culture runs through from the receptionist answering the calls to the solicitor. The service is really great, fair (no jargon) & I believe do have people at the heart of everything that they do.
Costs incurred were fairly priced. Solicitor & Secretaries were always available to discuss matters.
I will always recommend the practice & return should a legal matter need to be resolved.

Divorce

Disappointing family law services
My personal experience with the family law department of the firm was disappointing, unfortunately.
I got my divorce and finance papers finalised in the end, however, experienced numerous communication problems and delays throughout the process. I did not feel like my case was a priority. I also experienced issues with billing, and felt like I had to check each invoice not to be overcharged.
Finally, one of my original documents was not returned from court, and the firm instead of supporting me in tracing it, tried to deny they had ever received it from me. I was shocked by this attitude from a professional legal firm.
I successfully complained to The Legal Ombudsman.

Financial settlement following divorce
Fiona Bruce solicitors were recommended by a family member. The solicitor was Phillip Porter, he did some excellent work in trying to obtain the best possible outcome for me. I felt that the matter was handled in a clear, honest and professional way. I was always kept updated, and my emails with questions and concerns were always answered promptly.
