I was facing a really stressful situation after being charged with possession of a Class A drug following an incident at a football match. I’d never been in a situation like this before and had no idea what to expect. Melanie and the team worked endlessly throughout the whole process. I was recommended Football Law Associates by a friend after being involved in an unfortunate incident that, without context, looked very damaging — I was in a lot of trouble. FBOs are baffling at first and need a lot of explaining; one wrong step and you can go down a very bad path, which I nearly did before getting the expert help that FLA provide. I cannot speak highly enough of Rob, who is a very smart guy and a true gentleman. He's also clearly a kind person who genuinely cares and wants the best outcome for you. He has encyclopedic knowledge of football law and can hold his own in a general chat about football too. Obviously, the best approach is to avoid trouble altogether and never need legal help in the first place. But if you ever do, do not risk going anywhere else but FLA — they really could not be any better. ---

Had an issue at a football match and got the court papers 20 months later, went straight to football law associates and they were excellent (Mel) took me through the whole process of what was going to happen and gave me all the options. They represented me at both my initial court appearance (Mel), as well as at my hearing for the contested football banning order (Rob).
