Sarah McCarthy handled my late aunt’s probate and IHT, and she did a brilliant job. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she explained things in a way that actually made sense. She kept me updated without me having to chase, and the whole process went far more smoothly than I expected. Really professional, but also very approachable. I’d definitely use her again.

I had an excellent experience with Sarah McCarthy, assisted by Catherine Harrison, in handling my dad’s probate. They made what I expected to be a difficult and stressful process feel straightforward and manageable. From the outset, they were incredibly responsive - answering my initial query and arranging an interview within a day. Throughout, they dealt with any follow-up questions promptly and clearly, which gave me real peace of mind. I was particularly impressed by how quickly the grant of probate was issued. Having heard so many horror stories about delays, this was far faster than I had anticipated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing probate services.

We approached Sarah at Vincent’s for assistance with probate for my father’s estate. It wasn’t an easy process, as we had care fees to manage, and Sarah spent a considerable amount of time liaising back and forth with the council to ensure we were paying the correct amount. Thanks to her efforts, we even received a refund on his council tax. We also used Vincent’s to help with the sale of my father’s house, as well as another department within the firm to support my wife with her redundancy. In every instance, we received outstanding service. Everyone we dealt with went above and beyond in their roles, and we couldn’t have been happier with the support we received. We would highly recommend Vincent’s to anyone in need of a solicitor, and we certainly wouldn’t consider using anyone else in the future. A heartfelt thank you to Sarah, Drew, Luke, and Connor for all their help and professionalism during what was a particularly difficult year. My first experience with Vincent's was when a friend of mine who died last year had used Vincent's in his will and, during the long process of getting it all sorted I was very impressed with Sarah's and the staff help and activity!
