Luke Cheshire

Trainee Solicitor

Luke joined Albin and Co Solicitors in September 2022 as a trainee solicitor. His first seat in the Family Law department assisting the head of the Family law department on her matrimonial and private children law caseload. Luke also works closely with the Public Law Family team attending court and PLO meetings and confidently meets new clients to take initial instructions. In his current position, he is responsible for completing the preparation of court documents including client statements, private law financial documents (Form Es/ D81), court bundles etc and is trained in handling the funding of Legal Aid matters. He enjoys engaging in day-to-day contact with clients and professionals. Luke has joined the firm recently subsequent to completing his LPC LLM at the University of Law Reading where he achieved a distinction. He further completed his undergraduate studies at Cardiff University with a first class degree in LLB Law (Hons). Leaving behind his cricketing affiliation with Glamorgan CCC to pursue a career in law, Luke still enjoys balancing his work commitments with sport.
