Accepting new clients via ReviewSolicitors

Deborah runs the Dispute Resolution department at Jones Whyte. She has decades of experience dealing with contentious matters for individuals and businesses; including property disputes, contract, professional negligence and landlord and tenant disputes. She is a Solicitor Advocate which means she can appear at the highest courts in Scotland and has vast experience of winning cases in adversarial matters, which require robust knowledge and expertise, whilst keeping the client clear and informed at every step. As well as her track record in court, Deborah is also expert at other forms of dispute resolution, including mediation and negotiation. For the right kinds of cases, keeping matters out of court can often be more beneficial for all involved. Deborah is the Trainee Partner for Jones Whyte, which involves mentoring and recruiting those joining the firm. She also tutored in Civil Litigation on the Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Strathclyde. Deborah is a key part of the successful team which led to Jones Whyte winning both the Scottish Legal Awards and Law Awards of Scotland ‘Firm of the Year’ in 2021 and to its continuing success as one of Scotland’s fastest growing law firms.
