My experience with Ms Siddiq was outstanding. She was able to navigate the complexities of my case with ease, and I felt she listened very intently and developed a sensible plan very quickly based on our conversation. She then proceeded to follow that plan precisely as outlined, within the dates she specified, and I came out of the matter with much better knowledge of my position. All told, I had an excellent experience with Ms Siddiq and I'd recommend her unreservedly for anyone seeking advice on a defamation or dispute issue.

I’m from Spain so, among other things, he assisted me by translating key legal and financial documents into Spanish and by clearly explaining the various stages of the Scottish conveyancing process. Jones Whyte Solicitors were recommended (among others) to facilitate the buying and selling of our new home by the builders of our new build, Taylor Wimpy. We decided to go with Jones Whyte as they had not only the most competitive quote, but the most accessible office hours as well.

I'm pleased to say the recommendation was impeccable. Taylor and the team at Jones Whyte were swift, friendly and professional throughout the whole process and helped make this complicated transaction as painless and stress free as possible. Absolutely thrilled with the service and we'd use them for legal services again in a heartbeat.

If I could give them no stars, I would. Due to their senior solicitor misadvising us, we lost the sale and purchase of our house due to delays that could have been avoided from day 1.

I received, in writing, from the senior solicitor that no fees were due for the work carried out to date. Over 18 months later, I’m contacted demanding over due payment. I explained I had confirmation from the firm that the WIP had been written off and provided proof. They said I was misadvised yet again and that the fee was actually due! I’ve raised a complaint to Legal Ombudsman and they aren’t willing to wait for their findings and are threatening me with court action. I have shown willing to pay for part of the conveyancing carried out by the solicitor who didn’t screw up, as a compromise until the Ombudsman completed its findings and have openly stated I will pay in full if the Ombudsman rules in their favour and not mine. Despite telling them I’ve also just started IVF treatment, they have confirmed they will take me to court unless I make immediate payment.

Do not trust this firm. The conveyancing advice is terrible and they go back on their word a year after they’ve given it.
