I am a Director of EMG Solicitors and head up the Will Trusts and Probate team. I have extensive experience advising clients and providing comprehensive and expert advice on all aspects of private client work including advising on and drafting Wills, mitigating inheritance tax and estate planning for individuals, business owners, farmers, executors and trustees, the administration of estates whether there is a Will or not, supporting families through the application for Grant of Probate, advice on and the preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of attorney, advice on and the preparation of ordinary powers of attorney, the registration of Enduing Powers of Attorney, the application for Deputyships at the Court of Protection and advising on and preparing trusts whether they be for assets protection reasons or to utilise inheritance tax reliefs. I care about my clients and wish to help and support them reach the outcome that they desire. I appreciate that many clients require my assistance during very difficult times in their lives and I try my best to be there for them.

Best solicitors I've ever used
I had to find a new solicitor's firm recently and as EMG had opened a new office in my town I decided to take a gamble and try them. I've used their conveyancing department, their litigation department and their Wills department, liaising with various different staff members.
EMG are friendly, approachable, thorough, efficient and I always knew I was in safe hands. The vendor whose house I bought was envious at how excellent my conveyancing solicitor Gillian Haines was in comparison to her own solicitor!
Highly recommended and I will definitely use EMG in the future.

property buying , power of attorney and will.
The ladies were wonderful at helping us through all the problems of buying a property.
The Will was sorted so fast.
But we are still waiting for the power of attorney (not solicitors fault).

Complicated trust fund issue
EMG took the case on retrieve 70k on my behalf that had been in a trust that the trustees firm went bust
Seemed simple to them
Just sorted it and put it to bed the last thing you need after a bereavement is hassle I was executor it’s was my job and EMG TOOK OVER AMD SORTED 5 STAR
