From my initial contact with Julia I felt like I was being given solid and easy to understand advice. I had moved to EMG after an appalling service with another company and made more progress in 1 meeting than I had in 3 months elsewhere! I found Julia very easy to contact and quick to respond if she was busy attending to other matters. I spoke to others at EMG at times when contacting Julia, and everyone was very professional and polite. I can genuinely say that once I moved to EMG I really felt like I was being listened to, my case was instantly understood and great advice was given to me. When I approached EMG I was worn down with my situation after being given constantly changing and conflicting advice elsewhere, but after 1 initial meeting with Julia I had all my questions answered and a clear route explained to me for next steps. I couldn't recommend them highly enough!

Absolutely appalling…avoid at all costs.
My buyer is using this solicitor and they are completely unresponsive, we have a no chain straightforward sale which is now in its SIXTH month, costing me thousands and these people will not respond to mine, my buyer or my conveyancers calls or emails. Even the director will only give us a “I’ll look into it”
My own conveyancer is not much better but they were ready to complete two weeks ago yet couldn’t get ahold of EMG for a week, now another week has gone by with no response besides “we are finalising the buyers source of income”.
Reading other reviews it looks like nothing is going to happen this side of Christmas, which will cause me massive financial stress on top of just having a newborn baby.
I do not understand why we have had this experience since there are many 5 star reviews but perhaps my account of this disappointing service might help move things forward for us. I see some reviews have been responded to.
If things are going to take so many months at least be upfront with customers rather than blatant ignorance?
