I am a Solicitor at the firm and joined EMG in February 2019. I spend most of my time working in our Court of Protection health and welfare department and I am starting to gain experience working with clients who have been sectioned under the Mental Health Act. The majority of my current work involves representing and providing advice to clients who lack the capacity to make decisions for themselves, particularly in relation to their care and residence. I also represent family members of those who lack capacity to make their own decisions. I run my own case load and also assist other fee earners.
