Harry studied Archaeology at Edinburgh University. After a career in the Army he returned home to take on the tenancy of Longbank Farm on the sudden death of his father. Whilst remaining an active farmer, he attended Northumbria University Law School and then trained at Dickinson Dees before joining its Agriculture, Farms and Estates Team in 2005.
