Redundancy Terms & Package Support
I was made redundant from my sales role out of the blue and with only 10-days notice before termination date, and 3-weeks before my wedding day so it was very stressful. I found Doswell Law online and after evaluating the reviews, I met and appointed Henry to help me, and I am so glad I did. Henry met with me quickly due to timelines and was very speedy with his questions and responses to my employers. Henry helped negotiate better terms for all the covenants in place as well as getting my offer and legal costs increased. I am very grateful for his support as it enabled me to concentrate on job hunting and the wedding. I am now in a new role with only 1-month left on my covenants, down from 12-months so I will soon be 100% back in the game. Excellent fast and efficient service

Doswell Law - an SME view
I originally worked with Henry on an isolated HR matter some 9 years or so ago. Following this, we discussed the company's HR needs, as a result of which Henry recommended a review of our entire company handbook, contracts of employment and other employment-related documentation.
I was particularly struck by his flexible approach, as whilst he could have provided a complete, tailored document set, he fully understood that I wanted to carry out the majority of the work in-house. He facilitated that, and provided clear advice, useful references and professional support, which ensured that the handbook reflected the company's approach, but was fully compliant with best practice.
Henry subsequently offered an annual retainer-based service in which an agreed number of hours per month are available for HR updates, general advice, reviews of any documents we prepare, and response to the "I've got a quick question" issues, which offers the SME day-to-day access to "the HR manager that you can't afford". It is efficient, convenient and cost-effective.
We have used the Doswell Law retainer-based service for a number of years and would happily recommend this approach.
It goes without saying that I have no hesitation in recommending Henry.

Settlement agreement
Once again, I found myself again in a situation where I needed a solicitor for a settlement agreement. It was very short notice but Henry called me back quickly for the initial discussion and we set up a call to go through the settlement agreement. It was pretty straightforward, however Henry asked for background information to see if there's more to it than disclosed. He was well prepared and guided me through the process efficiently and explained everything thoroughly. We reached the expected outcome and I was happy as one can be in this sort of situation. Highly recommend.

I received clear helpful guidance during a stressful event.
