He facilitated that, and provided clear advice, useful references and professional support, which ensured that the handbook reflected the company's approach, but was fully compliant with best practice.
Henry subsequently offered an annual retainer-based service in which an agreed number of hours per month are available for HR updates, general advice, reviews of any documents we prepare, and response to the "I've got a quick question" issues, which offers the SME day-to-day access to "the HR manager that you can't afford". It is efficient, convenient and cost-effective.
