    Unilateral Notice has been registered against my property

    Blackhurst Budd was handling my case when I purchased the property in 2020. However, the title transfer was never fully completed, and as a result, I have been unable to sell the property despite owning it for the past six years. I find this situation extremely frustrating, as I have incurred significant costs in holding the property while being prevented from selling it due to an issue that should have been resolved years ago.

    A horrible experience - avoid.

    We used them to prepare a legal pack and the conveyancing for a commercial property to be sold at auction. Once you are on board you won't able to speak to anyone. You will leave messages, but your calls will not be returned. So, you will email them. Again, you will not get a reply and the email may or may not be actioned. They made several mistakes and you just have no way to tell them. They made a mistake that cost us £5,000. It could have been avoided, but no one would answer our emails or return our calls. We had to make a formal complaint to get all the £5,000 back. The culture is a heady brew of incompetence and arrogances. Even though we are not out of pocket now, the stress and time taken to get to this point is just not worth it. A horrible experience - avoid.

    Really good service. We have taken their advice and help on two separate matters, for a rental agreement and then to sale the property via auction. Briony was excellent both times, keeping us updated and giving us honest, legal advice as opposed to what people wanna hear. She was also very prompt in keeping us updated. Literally completed the auction within 2-3 days. Fees are reasonable as well Thanks again Briony and team!
