Ikra undertook her legal studies and graduated in 2020. During her time at university, she was given the opportunity to work alongside the firm in the MedLaw project in the Clinical Negligence Team. Following this she graduated her postgraduate qualification and obtained a Masters in 2021. Whilst studying, she took the time to engage in extra curricular activities and worked within other areas of law. Ikra has previous experience in Personal Injury and Commercial Litigation, in assisting her colleagues on various cases. She is able to interpret and evaluate information efficiently whilst recognising the broader scopes and ethics required in completing legal work. She now has qualified as a solicitor into our Clinical Negligence team. She acts exclusively for Claimant’s in clinical negligence claims. Ikra works closely with Elizabeth Smith, in a variety of claims investigating the failures and / or delays in diagnosing or treating clients such as: • Wrongful birth; • Oncology claims; • Catastrophic injury involving children and adult brain injury • Spinal injury. Ikra has successfully assisted on the investigation and conclusion of million-pound claims. Outside of law, Ikra values time with her close family and friends but also enjoys to push the limit in the gym. She also expresses her passion for driving and cars.
