Ikra graduated from the University of Plymouth with a law degree during the global pandemic. During this time she was a part of the medlaw clinic attending Wolferstans weekly within their Disputes and Litigation Team. Following this she continued her studies as a postgraduate with the University of Law to obtain her Legal Practice Couse qualification alongside a masters in 2020-21. Through this time, she was a part of the immigration clinic at the University of Exeter, meeting with clients and working with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes. She has also been involved in working with the University as a Student Ambassador speaking to students and networking with people across the country. Before joining Wolferstans as a Trainee Solicitor in Sepember 2022, Ikra gained experience in her previous firm assisting solicitors in Commercial Litigation and, more specifically, Personal Injury law. She has experience in dealing with small claims, fast track and multi-track claims for insurance litigation. She has experience dealing with sensitive matters and was able to provide reassuring communication with clients. Further to working within the wider Commercial Litigation team, she was placed on secondment for a water utility company, dealing with household legal queries, to debt recovery claims issued for outstanding water / sewerage bills. She is able to interpret and evaluate information efficiently whilst recognising the broader scopes and ethics required in completing legal work. In her free time, she enjoys the art of makeup, creating bold looks. She enjoys going to the gym, pushing her limits, and creating new goals. Ikra values spending time with her family and likes to explore new places.
