Andrew qualified as a solicitor in 2016 and has been practising in civil litigation ever since. Prior to this Andrew had work experience in a variety of areas, including a period working for a firm in the US. Prior to his training contract Andrew had been an experienced paralegal and fee earner, giving him a strong understanding and wealth of experience prior to qualifying. Whilst undertaking his training contract, Andrew also sat on the committee of the Merseyside Junior Lawyers Division and the Civil Litigation sub-committee. With a strong background and years of experience in civil litigation Andrew has honed his skills as an advocate in a wide variety of hearings, and is adept at reacting to ever changing live litigated matters to get a client the desired outcome. Andrew has now joined the team at MSB to focus solely on Housing Law with his work now covering all areas of housing and associated litigation that arises within this field. With a varied background, Andrew can also advise on additional elements that arise for all housing providers linked to nuisance issues, trespass, issuing linked to public highways, rights of way and liabilities that can arise as an occupier of premises.
