Hewitts of Darlington were recommended to us by our estate agent to handle the sale of our property.
Karen Dove was assigned to us from the firm. We had a very quick response to get things under way and a work pack arrived very soon after.
Karen kept us up to date with all aspects of the sale and advised us of any queries that had to be addressed.
The whole process was very smooth which showed the efficiency and knowledge of the Hewitts team.
On conclusion of the sale all monies were transferred very quickly.

House Sale
We decided to sell some of our letting portfolio due to increasing mortgage charges.
I searched on compare conveyancing and Hewitts was one of the most cost effective companies.
The process seemed to take a long time to complete due to the buyers mortgage company, however Hewitts were very good, I rang Karen's secretary Bethany who explained what the hold up was and also answered all my questions.
I would use Hewitts again.

I have been a long-standing client of Hewitt solicitors for many years Karen, dove who work for them is exceptional. She always knows every answer to every question you ask and helps you understand things and just make life simple. I can’t recommend her enough and always get back to you and keep you updated. So you always know what’s happening I don’t normally leave reviews but my experience with you. It has been very good and Karen so I definitely recommend them. I recommend and would use Hewitts again.
I was pleasantly surprised that the sale of our property went through so straightforward.

The sale of my house
I was recommended Hewitts solicitors by my Mortgage advisor. He knows his stuff and Hewitts certainly do too. Karen Dove dealt with everything and was constantly the solicitor who seemed to be ahead with everything.
I am a complete novice in the world of housing but she made it very easy and non - stressful.
