Instructing this company based on their fee was a huge mistake!
Tracey Havelot cost me an an additional £2,500 as she literally did nothing, and if had not noticed this after 5 weeks, this figure could have been much more. She did not pass on emails to the other side, and she was also extremely rude to me (the rudeness I could forgive if she had actually done something.. anything helpful at all!). I have dealt with lots of solicitors, and it is clear this person is not a solicitor, not a conveyancer, and not even an administrator. They did absolutely nothing to sell my vacant flat to a first time buyer, it should have been the easiest transaction . It cost me dearly, as I did not realise the only time she contacted me was to ask for a deposit, then she was acting as a black hole for information, and having instructing this company as they were a bit cheaper than a solicitor was a huge mistake. It cost me more than double than it would have if I had instructed a proper solicitors. These are not a solicitors, I hope I can help someone avoid the costs that having this company involved cost me! Please use a solicitor, not this company, unless you are trying not to sell your property (maybe due to divorce or similar). They will be great for avoiding selling your home, so I do really hope I can help someone considering instructing this company, as only useful if you do not want the transfer to take place.

Not great experience
I used twice the same company and took too long to process and not many updates.

Thank you for your feedback. Whilst we have taken your comments on board there may not always be progress to report and sometimes weeks may go by where it appears there has been no progress. However, our team will have been doing what they can in the background although this is not always obvious. Frequently, replies to enquiries are awaited or searches are outstanding. Searches, in some instances, can take 4 weeks to arrive. It is therefore not always possible to update you with progress on a weekly basis as third parties are awaited. Currently the UK national average for a purchase is 12 weeks and conveyancing is a heavily regulated legal process which can take some time to work through the key steps.

Great Solicitors! Would recommend!
I recently used Stephens Wilmot for the sale & purchase of properties. Tracey was our solicitor and she was fantastic, even with several falling through and other problems she was always available and very helpful throughout the whole process. Many thanks to Tracey and everyone at Stephens Wilmot.

Conveyancing for property
I’ve used Tracey Havelot for 2 mortgage applications and both times I had received brilliant service from her. With it being our first time buying a house she made our experience feel easy and stress free as she kept us informed from start to finish with what step we’re at and was always a phone call away. I will 100% recommend her to friends and family for any conveyancing needs.
