Ruby is a Family Law Solicitor and specialises in all aspect of family law matters, including representing parents and grandparents in children law proceedings. Ruby has been practicing for over 28 years and has a reputation as a solicitor who is understanding, caring and provides practical advice to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. Alongside her successful law career, Ruby is an Associate Lecturer at Law at the University of Bradford teaching clinical legal skills and human rights. She also sits as an Independent Hospital Manager at the Bradford District Care Trust as a lay chair on the mental health panel giving the opportunity for patients to have their cases considered independently. Ruby was awarded an OBE by the Queen in the New Year’s Honours list in 2019 and was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Bradford in 2020. Ruby is fluent in Urdu and Punjabi and is content to conduct meetings and take instructions in these languages.
