Rob is a Director and Head of our Residential Conveyancing Department and has over 12 years’ experience in Residential Conveyancing work. Rob has been working in the area since he qualified and has helped thousands of families and individuals with their property needs. Rob qualified as a Solicitor in September 2006, having originally been born and brought up in Neath, in South Wales. He left the town to go to University in Warwick where he studied Law and obtained his LLB (Hons) Degree. Rob subsequently took his LPC in the College of Law in Birmingham and started as a trainee at Ellis-Fermor & Negus in September 2004. After qualifying in September 2006, Rob has worked in Residential Conveyancing ever since. Rob became a Director and Head of the Residential Conveyancing department in April 2010 and is also the firm’s Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) for our Conveyancing Quality Scheme Accreditation. Rob continues to complete annual professional development courses in Residential Conveyancing to ensure he keeps up-to-date on changes in the law and processes involved. Rob is also an active member of the Lawyers’ Christian Fellowship (LCF) and the Law Society Property Section. Rob says that: “House buying is probably the biggest transaction most people do and it is really important that we help them understand what is happening. I believe we should do all we can to make the move as smooth and easy as possible. I enjoy the day-to-day challenges that conveyancing brings and the team and I pride ourselves in providing a good service to all of our clients. I enjoy the conveyancing process because of the speed at which the market moves, there is never a dull moment! My job also allows me to represent and work alongside a wide range of interesting clients and contacts.” Rob is married with two son’s and loves spending time with his family. He and his family enjoy attending their local Church. When he can find the time (and energy!), Rob enjoys playing football and will watch most sports. He particularly likes football and of course Rugby Union, being a proud Welshman!

Absolutely outstanding service

Rob Meredith was absolutely fantastic. We have moved many times and always used the same solicitor previously, but their service standards had dipped and several people had recommend Rob to us. We discovered that service we'd have rated as 8/10 previously was actually more like a 4/10. Rob is responsive, straight talking, practical, and really listened to what we wanted and needed to help us get a very difficult conveyancing situation (due to other parties) over the line. His proactive approach helped save the entire chain from collapse and his patience and tenacity when dealing with unresponsive and incompetent professionals was astonishing! He was simply a pleasure to deal with, and we would not hesitate to sing his praises from the rooftops, genuinely. He made all the difference and we felt in safe hands throughout. We can't thank him enough and whilst we never want to move house again, there is no one else that we would want to have looking after us!
