Went with Risdon Minehead branch to buy my first home. The whole process was much faster than expected and within eight weeks I had the keys to the house!
Caz and Kate were very helpful and always able to answer any questions throughout the process. They went the extra mile to make sure I had everything I required legally which included creating extra documents at my request which wouldn't usually be required for buying a property, just purely for my benefit and personal circumstances.
Overall I can't fault them. Really helpful and would definitely go with Risdon Minehead branch again.

Exceptional
Purchasing a home in 2021 was not for the faint-hearted. Thankfully, we had Susan Walker of Minehead Risdon Hosegood on our team. We presented her with an accepted offer on a house on May 18th 2021 and, like the rest of England, wanted to complete contracts before June 30th to save on SDLT. We had our doubts it could be done. Susan demonstrated a keen knowledge of the current circumstances and went above and beyond to smooth the way. This was particularly important to us as we were buying our first home in the UK after many years abroad. We needed additional explanations of the process and Susan answered every query in full, anticipating and proactively dealing with any issues. Her professional relationships with local building surveyors, other solicitors, even electricians, meant we knew exactly who to contact and when. Susan contacted others on our behalf, prepared documents for hand-delivery and kept driving everyone involved forward. We completed the home purchase in about thirty-seven days, saving us a significant sum. Susan Walker's knowledge, determination, grace and humor under extreme pressure mean we will look to her and Risdon Hosegood for any further legal needs. It was a pleasure to work with Susan and we highly recommend her services.

Efficient and very helpful
I am an architect and developer, we deal with many conveyancing land deals. We chose Risdon Hosegood as it was outside our geographical area and we were recommended to speak to Susan and her team by friends. The service was outstanding, the team chased vendor solicitors and ourselves to push for a timely purchase. Very pleased and will use again.

Adverse Possession
Whilst the outcome wasn't what we were hoping for, the result however was quite acceptable. Susan did her utmost under the pressure during the COVID pandemic and for that we owe her many, many thanks.
