Overview Megan is a Solicitor Apprentice undertaking a degree-level apprenticeship, combining academic study with practical legal experience across a number of departments within the firm. She supports colleagues on a range of matters and is developing a strong foundation in client care and legal practice. Experience & background Megan joined the firm as a Solicitor Apprentice and is gaining experience across different practice areas as part of her structured training programme. In her first year, Megan worked within the Wills, Trusts and Probate team, assisting with a variety of private client matters, including drafting Wills, preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney and overseeing will signings. During her second and third years, Megan developed experience in Court of Protection and Mental Health law. Her role included preparing cases for court hearings, supporting tribunal matters and attending hospital managers’ meetings. She also assisted in representing individuals assessed as lacking capacity to make decisions about their care and support, developing a strong understanding of this sensitive area of law. Now in the fourth year of her apprenticeship, Megan is working within the Family team, where she assists with both public and private law matters, supporting clients through what are often complex and emotional situations.
