Jennifer Watson

Solicitor

Jennifer is a Solicitor in our Estate Planning team. Her role involves drafting Wills and Power of Attorney for clients, as well as advising them on estate planning concerns such as inheritance tax and care costs. She previously worked at a high street family and civil law firm, specialising in family law. This involved representing clients in children’s hearings and court appearances relating to custody battles, social work referrals, adoption and separation. She also assisted clients in drafting wills, power of attorney, and guardianship orders. Her greatest success at work has been achieving satisfactory results for clients facing adversity during troubling times in their lives, providing advice on matters important to them. Jennifer studied in Amsterdam in her third year of her law degree as part of the Erasmus exchange scheme. This experience allowed her to learn numerous different areas of law and gain insights in to the European legal system. Additionally, Jennifer sat the New York Bar exam in July 2022.
