Alison is a great communicator - I can't thank her enough for advice!
I found Alison on internet search while living in France after I consulted a few solicitors both in France and UK via my personal contacts. To my dismay nobody was willing to give me any clear advice on anything, except commenting on the difficulties I would face.
Alison was very different.
In the initial free consultation I found her kind, sensible and straightforward and strong. It was great to be heard, and given clear explanation on everything I asked! Some was good news and some bad news. But that was exactly what I needed to know : the facts/laws/my rights. I was very happy with the call.
But then, unexpectedly, Alison sent me a detailed and precise resume of our call, clearly stating my available courses of actions and what she could help me with.
Since then, I followed Alison’s advice throughout the various difficulties including pandemic to the happy conclusion of obtaining the decree absolute and pension sharing order!
Now I am rebuilding my new life and she has played a major role in giving me the foundation for it. Thank you, Alison!

I contacted Mrs. Ratchford regarding divorce as a non-resident of the UK and my experience was as seamless as it was speedy. Cannot recommend Alison Ratchford enough
I cannot recommend Alison Ratchford enough. She picked up my case at a time when it was in dire straits, and turned it around. Not only is she very knowledgeable and very experienced, but she is also very approachable and always provide straight and sound advice. She was totally invested in my case and knew it back to front. I felt I was completely supported during the whole process, and the feeling of being in very capable hands alleviated a lot of the stress of the situation. From a financial point of view, the cost of each step of the process was always very clear and completely transparent, which helped greatly to budget. Incredibly helpful and diligent
I wanted to personally thank you for all the assistance you have provided over the past 12 months � not only have you been incredibly helpful and diligent throughout these proceedings but have really taken the time to understand and accomodate our seemingly complex situation. You are the only lawyer I could find (and I spent 5 years looking!) in either jurisdiction who was willing to take on our divorce and do so in such a professional manner.
