Andrew Robotham

My association with Andrew has lasted for many years. I even followed him when he joined Woolley and Co from another company. I have had a very complicated family situation which has seen me have to attend the family courts many times. Andrew has been wonderful throughout. Without his guidance, his calm personable manor and his excellent legal knowledge I don’t know what I would have done. He is always attentive and responsive, he replies quickly to emails when questions need to be answered. The reason I have continued to keep coming back to Andrew speaks volumes about how much I trust him and value his expertise. So thank you Andrew, although that doesn’t really seem enough. The past six months have been some of the hardest in my life and Andrew has been such a huge help, making an awful time more bearable and giving us the security that we had the best professional dealing with our case. Thanks again

Highly recommended

My solicitor was Susan, a lovely lady who was patient, kind and answered every question I had, even the daft ones. A highly stressful time was made so much easier by Sue and for that I am truly grateful. Legal problems are never cheap but my experience was worth every penny.

Look no further.

Kate Butler assisted me for the last few years in a very difficult and complicated family matter concerning an ex-partner and our shared children. We have negotiated the MOST difficult allegations from the Mother, including child battery and peadophilia amongst many many more (all proven false of course). Kate's counsel has been invaluable and her intiate knowledge of the history of the case is nothing less than staggering. On a number of occasions Kate remembered details from years ago that I had almost forgotten.

With Kate's assistance, despite all the serial malicious allegations from the Mother, we recently acheived full 50/50 shared care of the children having started from the Mother's position being the children should not have a relationship with their Father outside a child contact centre.

When it all began I employed a different family law solicitor. When I engaged Kate instead everything started to turn around, and to acheive this shared residency order is a result I would never have believed was possible at the beginning. Kate is not just good with the law, she is a true master of sensible advice on how to deal with an ex-partner like I have. I could not make a higher reccomendation.

If you suffering domestic abuse at the hands of ex-partner, or your children are being weaponised against you, Kate is the one who can help. If you are anyone else considering any sort of family law proceedings - Kate will also I am sure exhibit the same attenton to detail and talent in her work as she did with us.

Thank you again. You have massively improved the life prospects for my children.

A steady anchor during a very difficult time

Gemma was a factual, calm and patient presence in my life during a horrendous divorce process with an ex who was not cooperating and dragging things out, which mean that it took nearly 2 years until the consent order went through. She helped with strategy, negotiations and didn't try to influence my decisions while being clear about potential consequences. I was an emotional mess half the time but she still managed to get me to put my thinking cap on and get on with the things that needed to be done. She always responds quickly and clearly. I cannot thank her, or recommend her, enough.

Feedback Re: Miss Rebecca Franklin who was my lawyer

Miss Rebecca Franklin is an exceptionally talented, excellent communicator, sharp and a person who speaks to the point. Her legal expertise is second to none. I have also witnessed her performance during the court hearing is simply astonishing. Once she has presented the case, I clearly witnessed that the opposite side was taken by surprise as the sharpness, highly knowledge and fact based presentation by my Lawyer made them to struggle and put a sentence together. This is what one needs when it comes to court hearing.

Her ability, care and guidance had been outstanding. I had regular conversation with her and the guidance/advise I had been given at every stage was very high quality. More than being an outstanding lawyer, Miss Franklin had also shown me her humanity. Particularly when I was unwell and admitted to hospital, she was very kind, understanding and supportive. The messages she has sent to the other party to establish understanding of my health condition made me to understand that she cares.

As an educator myself, I learn so much from my lawyer, Miss Franklin, whose ability in being very methodical, clear and being specific to the point. Miss Franklin conducted her work with knowledge, high level of competence and integrity.

One expects family lawyers to be more understanding and operate in a delicate situation as children are involved most of the time. Miss Franklin had great care to the wellbeing of my children and astonishingly she also recommended what is best not only for me as her client but also to my Ex wife. This shows that her ethics is based on 'doing the right thing and being fairly'.

Overall, my experience had been great and will recommend Miss Rebecca Franklin to colleagues, friends, family members and anyone I come across who looking for legal advise in her expert areas.

Rebecca has been fantastic from start to finish, she took the time to explain what I needed to do and what everything would cost and how long it would take etc before making any payments and before I even decided to instruct her, she has been very professional and always explained everything in detail making the divorce process less stressful, would definitely recommend Rebecca without a doubt.

I first contacted Woolley & Co, via my union, just over a year after separating from my husband. My case was allocated to Andrew Robotham, and as soon as I started working with him, I knew I was in good hands. Throughout the process, he was patient, pragmatic, and endlessly supportive. Not only did he get me and my children the settlement we needed, he also gave me advice about several other legal issues concerning my ex-husband’s behaviour. Whatever happened, I always felt that I could turn to Andy for help.

Not being a local client wasn’t a problem at all. Most communication was via email, which worked well for me. In addition, Andy was available to talk things through on the phone whenever needed. I really appreciated that he was happy to work around my own commitments, often arranging calls in the early evening to fit in with my full-time job and my children. Nothing was too much trouble. My thanks must also go to Andy’s assistant, Rachael, who was equally kind and helpful.

The last 18 months of my life, have been incredibly difficult, more difficult at times than I could ever have imagined, but I feel that as a firm, Woolley & Co cares about their clients and completely understands the emotions involved. I am lucky to have had Andy to handle my divorce and help me through to a more than satisfactory conclusion.
