How to ‘Settle a Loved Ones Estate’ easily
I approached this solicitors as my mother had previously recommended them to me prior to her death. I asked them if they could apply for probate and settle mum’s estate as instructed by her in the will she had made. I and my two sisters had been nominated as equal executors as well as beneficiaries in the will and there were clear instructions regarding her previous income streams, her regular bills and insurance policies as well as final payments that might be necessary. Gordon Blackstock did very much as I had asked, by fulfilling the requests made by mum in her will settling any outstanding debts as well as recovering all of mum’s assets held in her bank accounts and the sale of her house before finally sending us the remaining balance from her estate in equal amounts of money by way of a cheque. Gordon is very ably assisted by his assistant; Charlotte Cullis who was very kind and supportive to me on more than one occasion. I could occasionally become upset while discussing details regarding mums estate with Charlotte, however she knew instinctively the right things to say to comfort and support me and immediately put me at ease.
