Going through a business partnership dispute is one of the most stressful experiences you can face as a founder. Mine involved a particularly difficult approach by the counterparty, which made having the right legal team not just helpful but essential. Richard, Jade, Megan and the wider team at The Legal Partners were exceptional throughout. What struck me immediately was their ability to put the heat of the moment into perspective — Richard's advice at the outset about how these situations actually play out proved accurate right through to resolution. When we reached mediation, the quality of their preparation and guidance spoke for itself. The mediator actually commented on how well-structured our approach was, asked who my lawyer was, looked Richard up, and confirmed his advice had been spot on. That's not something you expect to hear in a mediation room. Beyond the technical skill, it was their calmness and practicality that made the real difference. This was a cohesive team who genuinely seemed to care — not a rotating cast of associates. Communication was excellent, I was always kept informed, and everything on their side ran like clockwork. Frankly, I wish the other party had been as well represented. It might have made the whole process smoother. I'd recommend The Legal Partners without hesitation to anyone facing a complex commercial dispute.
