Over the last few months it has been my pleasure to work with the team at Farley Dwek Solicitors and in particular Debbie Payton. I chose the company following a need to appeal a negative decision in terms of Continuous Health Care provisioning. I purchased their book which was written is straight forward language and would highly recommend it as a source of information to truly understand the way the system assesses our loved ones.
Having looked at the reviews on line I made the right choice in appointing Farley Dwek to represent us. They were professional, tenacious at gathering and reviewing all the evidence and then putting forward an extremely strong and detailed appeal. Spearheaded by Debbie the paperwork was submitted and the negative decision was overturned.
This is a life changer for us as it removes the stress and the unfairness in the system in terms of recognising where a primary health need is evidently present. Debbie kept me sane and positive and was a pleasure to work with. I wholeheartedly recommend this firm

CHC Funding
I received perfect service at very short notice in respect of a reassessment of my mother's funding at the end of a period on Fast Track (end of life) CHC funding. I had a consultaion by telephone for in excess of two hours with an expert and well experienced nurse assessor, who then attended the reassessment meeting remotely and assisted hugely. She brought to the meeting a level of insight and expertise that I lacked and her friendly and collaborative approach was just right. As a result, and contrary to what I had been expecting, my mother has been given CHC funding. This will be hugely beneficial to her and is a great relief to me. The legal fee was a very sound investment. Inclusive of VAT it equated to the cost of just six days of my mother's care.

Sanity savers
Battling an unfair CHC system for several years whilst looking after a very ill husband on my own at home left me at the lowest ebb.
Finally I decided to pay for help and how I wish I had done this earlier .
The support and expertise from Andrew, Gill and Alex was excellent Things we just knew were wrong were proved to be so Four years after our first DST we were awarded CHC funding
The company respected our decision to appeal the previous year ourselves and we were awarded that .
Finally we asked them to look at tge earlier period They could have taken our money but instead guided us to see if it was a case worth fighting , which it was not .

CHC funding appeal. An excellent service.
From the moment I contacted Farley Dwek and spoke to Andrew Farley up until the successful outcome of my father's CHC funding appeal, this company have been everything we had hoped for and more. Having their own nurse to carry out the assessment really gave us confidence from the start. We feel that the nurse, Diane Jenkins, did a thorough, in-depth and accurate assessment of my health father's needs. Debbie Payton, Senior Case Manager/ Legal Advisor has worked tirelessly throughout the process to ensure the case was represented in an accurate, professional and timely way. Debbie's communication has been excellent. She has kept us fully informed throughout the process and has always responded very promptly to any questions and queries with a warm, friendly manner. This company are clear that they will only take the case on if they believe they will win so they are not in it just to take your money. If the situation changes as information comes to light, they will let you know. I really feel that Debbie cared about getting the right outcome for my father and for us. She did everything she promised to do along the way and we cannot speak highly enough of her. We would thoroughly recommend Farley Dwek as an organisation and Debbie Payton in particular. Outstanding service

Highly Recommend - look no further!
Having spoken to several 'specialist providers', we selected Farley Dwek Solicitors to support us with a continuing healthcare review for a family member, and have not regretted the decision for a minute. They have been fantastic.
We chose Farley Dwek in particular, as they were offering the services of a qualified nurse, backed by a solicitor to advise on the best course of action. Their advice has been first rate, and honest, throughout the process. Whereas as other (vastly more expensive firms) promised the earth - with no backing evidence - Farley Dwek took the time and trouble to make an in-depth assessment, and provide reliable feedback, and a comprehensive report. Their ‘one-off’ fee was mid-range, explained carefully at the beginning, has had no ‘add-ons’, and has delivered excellent Value for Money.
The nurse offered, was of the highest calibre, with vast experience in the field having been an assessor herself. The quality of her advice, and sensitive delivery were highly appreciated, as was her ability to build relationships with the family member and her care home, to glean the information needed. She would undoubtedly have the professional knowledge and approach to represent the family in review and multi-agency meetings. As well as 'doing the job; she truly cares!
Throughout the process, the firm have demonstrated time and again their patience, and ethical approach. Unlike other firms, they answer the phone every time, get back to you when they say they will, and EVERY single member of staff that I have dealt with, is courteous, polite and respectful. Their communication between the team is also excellent – which has saved so much time.
In an area of 'law' which seems to have a bewildering number of companies 'offering their services', do not hesitate to use this firm. No hard sell (they don't need to have), courteous and caring staff, good advice at a fair price with no 'add-ons' - look no further!
I rarely complete on-line feedback forms, but this form is worth the effort. 5*!

NHS Continuing Healthcare - Claim for care home fees
We appointed Farley Dwek Solicitors to support and advise with our claim for the refund of care fees for my late father under NHS Continuing Healthcare. It was a lengthy process but the the advice from Farley Dwek in arranging an independant nurses assessment and then organising an Appeal submission was very helpful and professional throughout.
The Appeal was delayed due to Covid but after several years a sucessful outcome was achieved during thr Local Resolution Meeting with Bury NHS.
From the initial discussions with Andrew Farley to help and advice from Stacey Ashworth and the submission of a detailed Appeal led by Debbie Payton, everyone was extremely helpful at all times. Debbie represented us at the virtual Local Resolution Meeting and we won the case on the day ! We would recomend Farley Dwek to anyone seeking advice on NHS Continuing Healthcare funding.

Help with Continuing Healthcare Funding
We have successfully obtained CHC funding for my mother with the assistance of Farley Dwek. Having been lied to and fobbed off by the NHS team, contacting Farley Dwek was the best thing i have done. The assistance of their experienced nurse was invaluable and made a huge difference at the multi disciplinary team meeting. For the first time in a three year battle, we felt someone understood and was on our side. Highly recommend Farley Dwek as experts in supporting you through this process.
