Conveyancing
Phillips Law handled my divorce so they were an obvious choice to use when I was moving house. It was slightly more complicated as there was a name change required to the title deeds but they made the whole process as easy and stress free as these things can be.

Incompetence
This firm was engaged to extend lease of a flat. Once completed, they lodged the application to Land Registry on the WRONG portal in June 2020. The application was rejected in September 2020 but they did not find out until February 2021 because no one in the firm was tracking the application. It was only because I started chasing them in early 2021 that they realised and resubmitted the application in February 2021. As a result of their incompetence I lost 5 months!!
Shouldn’t a professional person in the conveyance business know which portal to submit application?
Should they not be following up on the application with Land Registry?
Should they not inform the client that application was rejected and had to be resubmitted?
Where is their customer care?
I would not recommend using the firm.
