Overview of Emma’s practice Emma has recently qualified into the firm’s employment department working alongside head of department, Amy Brokenshire. Emma completed her final seat in employment, where she assisted Amy on a wide range of employer and employee matters, including several tribunal claims. Emma will continue to work closely with Amy post-qualification and can support clients with drafting and advising on settlement agreements, as well as drafting and reviewing employment contracts, handbooks and policies. Background Having previously worked at George Green as an Administrative Assistant for several months in 2019, Emma went onto study Law at the University of Warwick and graduated with a 2:1 Degree in 2022. She achieved a Distinction in her LPC at the University of Law in Birmingham and commenced her training contract at George Green in September 2023. Emma completed seats in Commercial Property, Family, Corporate and Employment, before qualifying in September 2025. And for something else… Emma is Chair of the Wolverhampton and Black Country Junior Lawyers Division for 2025/26, a society which brings together trainee solicitors, paralegals and new qualified solicitors across the region. Outside of work, Emma enjoys keeping active - she ran the London Marathon in April 2024 and has completed several half marathons. Emma also loves travelling and is always planning her next trip!

Darks times require Bright Lights

After receiving the worst news possible in your job, it’s difficult to know what to do. I was introduced to George Green solicitors through a strong recommendation. I have been very impressed with the service and professionalism. Step by step the guidance has been exceptional and communication has been quick and reliable. Emma Tetsill has taken me through a settlement process and I cannot praise or compliment her enough for taking the stress out of the situation for me. I would recommend Emma to anyone seeking support and guidance with work related issues. Thank you

Legal review of Termination Agreement

I required a legal review and certificate for an employment Termination Agreement. This had to be completed to a strict timeline. This was achieved. The consultation received was clear and concise with appreciation of my own understanding. Overall a great experience, would recommend to others.
