Erin joined Palmers Solicitors in 2020 as an Associate Solicitor in the Litigation Department before becoming Head of Personal Litigation in 2022. She is based at our Basildon (Commercial Hub) office. She has expertise in litigation relating to a wide range of matters, including property disputes, adverse possession, contractual disputes, professional negligence, contentious probate and debt recovery. Her particular area of specialism is Contentious Probate. Erin is also a member of ACTAPS (the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists) having completed the association’s Education Course in 2014. Erin is experienced in working with both private and commercial clients, including employer/employees, executors, beneficiaries, and business owners. Prior to joining Palmers Solicitors, Erin was Head of Litigation at another Essex-based law firm, having previously spent four years at a Hertfordshire-based law firm and two years as a paralegal in the litigation department of a large international law firm in London. She qualified as a Solicitor in April 2010. Away from the office, Erin enjoys spending time cooking and socialising with her friends and family, as well as travelling.

    Amazing solicitor

    I used Erin for a dispute with my late partner estate, she was very helpful in giving me all the information I needed as unfortunately my partner died suddenly and I need to understand what right I had as we had been together for 18 years. Thanks to Erin knowledge having her to help me though this I got the results I was hoping for and it’s was one less thing for me to worry about when also grieving. Erin is easy to talk to and in my option give you different options to go with for what you are looking for.

    Outstanding Service

    I had never been an Executor of a Will before, let alone one that was being contested. That was when I was introduced to Erin. I was nervous that I wouldn't understand all the legalities and that I would be out of my depth but Erin was so kind, patient and understanding. She explained all possible outcomes from the start and answered any questions or concerns I had. Her correspondence to the other solicitor was exceptional and displayed her extensive knowledge and professionalism - something that couldn't be said for the opposing solicitor !
