Do not expect any assistance, empathy, consideration, tact or good old fashioned customer service. Brought unnecessary stress to a dying man. Refused to confirm the funeral wishes of the said dead man to his next of kin. There for the grace of we chose correctly. I guess at 50/50 odds we got lucky! Having waited 4 weeks for a will reading we drove 160 miles to be told your need to book another appointment for that!! Wow wow wow! Poor comms from start to finish. Zero empathy in fact on arrival the lady said Mr x have you your ID? Everyone else in the process of dealing with the deceased estate have all started with as I am sure you reading this would sorry for your loss. Palmers no they don’t give a . They have several departments of law. This is really the one and only delay to at needs to show empathy. It’s ok though as when you research other companies they are more than happy to spend time discussing how to execute a will. Palmers must of assumed my parents die all the time and that this for me is water of a ducks back! STEER CLEAR! Ask your relations to do there will elsewhere and save the people they leave behind the stress and anxiety in what will be your most difficult moments.

Julie was absolutely incredible throughout the end to end conveyancing process. She was very responsive both on emails and phone, extremely detail orientated and highly knowledgeable about the field. We had some challenges with the vendor's solicitors not sharing information and overall being quite unresponsive throughout the whole process. Julie helped chase for answers and when we weren't provided any, she was able to find out the relevant information as part of local searches and other research. As I was purchasing an older home without much historic documentation, this was incredibly helpful and reassured me throughout the process. I have already recommended Julie to friends and family who are looking to buy property.

Julie dealt with all aspects of the house sale promptly and attentively, despite the sale falling through three times and one of the prospective buyers being rather demanding. The fourth, and happily successful, sale went from offer to completion in an impressive 17 days. Julie was a pleasure to work with

I previously had a positive experience with this solicitor's firm, which led me to use their services again. Unfortunately, during my most recent interaction, I was assigned a different representative within the company who, I believe, lacked the necessary expertise for conveyancing. This resulted in errors in the contract that ultimately cost us £15,000. Avoid using these!

I cannot recommend Palmers, especially Nicola and Keira, highly enough.
They have been absolutely fantastic over the last few years dealing with a lease extension for me and more recently, my sale and purchase.
They kept me updated throughout the process and were always there when I needed them. Even if it was just to rant about the chain above!
You really do pay for what you get and with these guys, its a professional and very friendly service that makes moving home as easy as it should be.
Having used a "Cheap and cheerful" conveyancer when buying the property I have just sold and having an absolute nightmare with them (Lack of contact, losing paperwork etc) I would honestly recommend Palmers to anyone!
