Jayne is a senior conveyancer whose career stretches over 25 years. Jayne’s experience covers a wide range of residential conveyancing matters, including the sale and purchase of both Freeholds and Leaseholds, transfers of equity, re-mortgaging and buy to let. She has experience in “Help to Buy” transactions and shared ownership, and often deals with property related matters arising from matrimonial disputes or end of life events. Jayne is also particularly proficient with first registrations of unregistered title and technical legal issues arising from historic deeds. Jayne’s efficiency, clear guidance, and hands-on approach are appreciated by her clients, and this is reflected in the number of repeat instructions and recommendations she receives. Outside of work, for many years Jayne excelled as a Civilian Instructor for the Royal Air Force Cadets, playing a pivotal role in organizing and running events for them. This role enabled Jayne to help many young people from different backgrounds learn life skills while enjoying themselves in a safe environment. Jayne rather enjoyed it too! Jayne’s passion now lies in the social side of the American Car scene, and she currently enjoys her 1950’s Model Y hotrod amongst others.

    Real heroes don't wear capes

    I had exchanged and was due to complete on a new property within 48 hours. The SRA performed an intervention against my current solicitor which left my family liable if we were unable to complete. The SRA had made no contingency plans to assist people in my circumstance and I was told to find a new solicitor. Out of all of the solicitors I contacted the response was the same, they would not take on a client between exchange/completion as it would be too difficult. There would be potential liabilities and given the timescales no-one was willing to help. At this point I found FDC law who as a team agreed to help me the day before I was due to complete. They rearranged their appointments to devote time to us and did an incredibly thorough and speedy job to enable us to complete the following day. Without their compassion and professional support we would've been left liable for thousands of pounds worth of additional costs as well as the potential to break the chain and lose our dream property. I cannot recommend Jayne Wells and the team enough.

    very disappointed with the level of service received with the person dealing with this matter and the length of time it took to complete, would probably still be waiting now if it wasn't for the fact that that i had set up a property alert with the land registry, it was only after repeated chasing for updates or information did we finally conclude the matter.

    Selling a 'Chocolate Quarter' Apartment in Keynsham

    When I first became aware that the company FDC Law existed in Keynsham I approached their rooms and was immediately introduced to the conveyancing solicitor. I explained my situation regarding the sale of my property. (I am not online). She was very helpful in explaining the process as it was a leasehold property. There was an absence of delays on the solicitors side. She was far more efficient than my Bath solicitor regarding the sale of my house there. Hopefully I will be using FDC Law again for the purchase of a future property.
