An excellent and professional home buying experience

Living in a time zone 6 hours ahead of UK made this a potentially challenging project to purchase a flat in UK. The professional and expert advice and legal representation from FDC was impeccable. Our mail requests/concerns were answered quickly and concisely. At no time did we need to call to chase answers. Items that we are not experienced with were brought to our attention to decide upon.
All in all, I very commendable experience and we can wholeheartedly recommend FDC Law for the future. We would not use anyone else.

awful

I have never experienced such bad conveyancing. Nothing was done for five weeks until I complained. I never get a response to calls or e mails. The other solicitors seem to feel the same. The estate agent is treated in the same way. The sale was agreed in December - it's March now and we are no further ahead. Writing this might get some response.

Don't make the same mistake as I did.

Excellent, would highly recommend

Used FDC Law to obtain probate and sort out our late Mothers estate. Everything was sorted professionally and as quickly as it could have been. Nothing was too much trouble and all enquiries were dealt with promptly.

DO NOT USE

Unprofessional, Unresponsive. Conveyancer takes leave and work unreviewed causing unnecessary delays to the process. Ms Wells said cover was provided, cover always unavailable and does not respond to calls or email. Delay in move has already cost loss of my own work contracts and continues to do so. A complaint will be lodged with the CLC Legal Ombudsman as appropriate. Company should not take on work that do not have staff to deliver

Michael Coward acted for us in the sale and purchase of properties. His communication throughout the process was excellent and he was thorough and prompt with all paperwork and replies. We cannot recommend highly enough, it really does lift some of the stress of the whole process knowing that the conveyancing is in a safe pair of hands!

We chose Michael Coward at FDC Law partly because his communication from the moment I enquired was excellent. We hadn't sold a house before, or dealt with solicitors, and with Michael we felt in safe and reliable hands. Very transparent and open to answering questions which was important as it was a stressful time and process. Can't thank Michael and his team enough. Will definitely use the firm again if necessary.
