I'm very grateful to Turpin & Miller - but especially to Caroline Sykes - for a phenomenal series of applications over the last 9 years. I have benefitted greatly from Caroline's expertise, confidence, and accuracy, but also her kindness and empathy for what is often a very stressful and expensive process. Having had very costly mistakes in the past from simple administrative errors, it has been so nice knowing that everythin will be going forward to the highest standard and with a trustworthy second set of eyes looking everything through in detail. I have just had my British Citizenship application confirmed and will no longer require Caroline's help going forward, but I would praise her and T&M to anyone in a similar position as a great team to turn to.

When first speaking with Caroline Sykes and needing to urgently change a Spouse Visa to an (ILR) Settlement after 5 years, I was immediately put at ease, reassured and given sound professional advice without any additional pressure. At an extremely stressful time for our family, with limited time and when other law firms were looking to maximise fees over a personal experience, I was given hope and felt very confident of a positive outcome. With Caroline's effective guidance during the application process and after a very short period of time, my wife was granted (ILR) Settlement from the Home Office. My family and I feel incredibly fortunate to have had the exceptional support of Caroline Sykes at Turpin & Miller LLP during what was an extremely difficult and stressful visa (ILE) situation. From start to finish, we were incredibly impressed by the exceptional level of service and care Caroline provided. We initially approached her with urgent concerns regarding our daughter’s visa, and she went above and beyond to resolve the situation, while continuing to answer our questions and provide additional information well after the immediate issue had been resolved. I found that Caroline had no limit to the number of questions I could ask her and for me this was truly unique, as in the past I have often found family lawyers/caseworkers to have a strict, slightly uncaring cut-off when it comes to asking questions beyond the paid consultation. With Caroline I was able to ask numerous questions well after the issue was resolved and each time her replies were as prompt, informative and caring as before. Caroline was knowledgeable, professional and incredibly thorough in all her correspondence with us. She knew exactly what needed to be done and guided us through the process with confidence and compassion. Her communication was always prompt, clear and caring, and we always felt that we were in safe hands. We truly could not have asked for a better person to support us during that challenging time and for a better outcome. We will most certainly be using Caroline’s services again in the future and would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of family immigration advice and support.
