I would urge anyone considering using MAJ Law to proceed with caution. I will not go into full detail as I have an active legal case pending, but I can comment on my personal experience. From the outset, the service felt inconsistent. I initially dealt with Connor Johnstone, then Harry Bellis, and later Osian Roberts. The constant changes made the process feel disjointed and difficult to follow. The time of my first hearing was not confirmed, and across the matter I ended up with three different barristers, none of whom appeared fully briefed when arriving at court. This caused significant concern and left me feeling unsupported at key stages. Communication from the office was also poor. On one occasion I was asked by a staff member, Simon Booth, to pull over on the motorway to make a payment. I was also told at one point that my file was fully paid, only to be contacted the day before a second trial requesting a further substantial sum. That hearing lasted around five minutes and was adjourned. Due to the accumulation of issues, I felt I had no choice but to dismiss the firm from representing me. I requested a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill, which was declined. I am now pursuing the matter through the appropriate legal channels. MAJ Law have my contact details and I remain open to resolving the dispute directly. However, based on my experience, I cannot recommend the service.

Very happy with MAJ Law. This is the second time I’ve used their services. First was for my husband, the second was for me and they have impressed me no end on both occasions. They aren’t cheap, but they handled everything and got both cases dropped before the court date each time. Very good at what they do and I highly recommend them. Rebecca is extremely thorough and Osian was always so helpful and polite when dealing with any of my queries.

I contacted MAJ Law after being charged with drug driving for cannabis. My blood levels were only just over the legal limit, and I genuinely didn’t think I’d be over as I hadn’t smoked for quite a while before driving. What stood out to me was that they didn’t just accept the charge at face value. They went through the timing of when I last used, the procedure at the station, and whether everything had been done properly. It turned out there were issues with how the sample had been handled and disclosed. The case ended up being discontinued before trial. I honestly don’t think a general solicitor would have picked up on the technical side of it in the same way. If you’re in a similar position, it’s definitely worth speaking to a specialist.

I’ll be honest, my experience with MAJ Law wasn’t what I expected at first, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing. After signing up, things went quite quiet for a while which initially made me a bit anxious, especially given how stressful the situation was. I found myself wondering if anything was actually happening behind the scenes. However, once things started moving, it became clear why. When I eventually spoke with the team again, everything had been prepared properly and they clearly knew the case inside out. Tom and Osian were especially helpful when I reached out, and explained that they were waiting on the initial evidence before taking the next steps, which made more sense in hindsight. The solicitor on the day was very professional which reassured me a lot. The outcome was ultimately positive, and although the process felt slower than I expected at times, I can see now that it was handled carefully rather than rushed. Overall, I’m glad I trusted them with it
