We are not allowed to respond to specifics about this matter due to client confidentiality however we would comment as follows: - 1. You came to us with very specific instructions having already spoken to your existing solicitor regarding the work you wanted us to conduct but you chose our firm as our fees were more reasonable. 2. You wanted us to do something that was not legally possible. We gave you an alternative which would have met all of your criteria but you did not want to pursue this. Consequently we do not see how you can say that we are at fault for this. 3. We only charged you half our original fees for the abortive invoice, which including VAT was under £200, despite the fee earner involved spending several hours on the matter discussing your wishes with you. Obviously we cannot keep all of our clients happy, but our other reviews, all 5 stars, indicate that all of our other clients who have taken the time to leave reviews are very happy with the service we provide.
