Sam joined CW Booth & Co in 2002 and became a partner in 2010. Sam specialises in criminal law, dealing with cases from the police station and magistrates’ court through to the most serious Crown Court matters. He offers huge experience in all types of criminal cases, including road traffic offences, benefits agency investigations and large-scale conspiracies. Sam has dealt with cases involving highly complex financial, forensic and telecommunications evidence. He is a duty solicitor for the South Durham and Darlington police station and court schemes and is qualified as a solicitor advocate (Higher Courts – Criminal). Sam also has substantial experience in family law matters, regularly providing advice and representation in respect of separation and divorce, child arrangements and care proceedings. In addition, Sam accepts instructions in respect of wills, powers of attorney and residential conveyancing.
