Jane has worked in HR for over thirty five years. She’s a Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and has an MA in HRM. Whilst lecturing at Bournemouth and Southampton Solent universities, she became a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Since joining Blanchards Bailey in 2016 as a HR Manager, she has progressed to be Head of HR. Jane has also developed an HR consultancy service. Arriving with an established client base in the education and charity sectors, she has since developed this service further amongst local businesses, including those in the retail, manufacturing and construction industries. Today, Jane advises on a whole spectrum of HR matters from recruitment, training and development, retention and reward strategies to performance management, grievance and disciplinary issues. She’s responsive to urgent matters, and focussed on developing proactive strategies, supported by the Blanchards Bailey’s Employment Law team, where appropriate.
