advise on a balanced and broad range of clients ranging from large plc and multi-national organisations and SME businesses to individuals including senior managers and directors. I advise both the public and private sectors with particular interest within the charity, education and local government sectors; but also advise start-ups and family businesses and have regularly dealt with matters in the financial services, hospitality, healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, in recruitment, technology and in property, construction and engineering industries. I advise my clients on legal risks and propose commercially sensitive and practical solutions to issues and offer strategic advice. I support clients in carrying out tribunal litigation which include unfair and wrongful dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing. I am adept at negotiating settlements and exit packages, negotiating with third parties to reach a fair resolution on matters. Having been accredited with a Certificate in Human Resources from the CIPD, I act as a trusted legal adviser offering support and advice on all employment matters from recruitment through to dismissal. I have been involved in long-term absence and performance management processes and addressed complex grievances and disciplinary issues and contracts of employment. I have also advised in change programmes involving TUPE (transfer, mergers, acquisitions and service changes) and redundancy. In addition to my client work, I supervise and offer training and coaching to junior members of the team and help support other lawyers in the firm with their cases, ensuring clients receive the best possible service. I qualified as a solicitor in 2001 and over the last 20 years, I have advised exclusively in employment law, holding positions in large regional firms and heading up the employment department of a smaller firm. I joined Springhouse Solicitors in May 2014 and have been with Kilgannon & Partners LLP since December 2021 when the two firms merged. If you need employment law advice, please do not hesitate to contact me on ylc@kilgannonlaw.co.uk or 0330 124 7815.

I had a short time to sort out a serious work problem, yet despite her heavy work schedule, Yeing-Lang Chong made time to fit me in. Not only did she understand the problem straight away, she provided expert advice which I followed and it produced an excellent result. Having dealt with many solicitors over time, I would rank her, a best in her field. Additionally such a pleasant lady to deal with, thank you.
