With over 20 years’ experience advising businesses and individuals on employment law and HR matters, it’s fair to say I’ve seen and dealt with most work-place issues. My approach is simple and two-fold. Firstly, I ensure clients receive expert and practical advice, which often means helping them find bespoke solutions to the problems they face. Secondly, I ensure clients receive an excellent service, which basically means responding promptly and effectively. Often the work I’m involved in has short deadlines, so an urgent response is imperative. This approach and my level of experience means I am often able to achieve outcomes that surpass client expectations. In 2019, I decided to launch a specialist employment law firm; one that harnesses modern technology and working practices, to allow the firm to focus solely on supporting its clients. Prior to starting Kilgannon & Partners, I successfully led a growing team of employment lawyers and gained experience in performing various management roles (marketing, IT, finance), which enhances the advice I am able to give to my clients. As a result, I also act as outsourced HR Director to a number of businesses enabling them to ensure their staff are aligned to the overall business strategy.     I can't recommend Springhouse enough. I recently needed support with a settlement agreement. I had initial conversations with four different solicitors and Matt was by far the most helpful. He listened and pointed out aspects of my case where others didnt bother. I worked closely with Louise throughout my negotiations and she was brilliant. She explained things clearly and helped me understand what was industry standard and what was not. I genuinely felt like I had someone with me looking out for my best interest. Louise helped me successfully negotiate with my employer and the end result was much better than I anticipated. I can't thank Louise enough for the help and support she gave during this challenging time.

    Collectively each member of staff working at the firm was patient, thorough and diligent who answered my queries very quickly in particular Dani who made the client on boarding process so smooth. Even when I was initially enquiring, I was not pressured and was made to feel that I would be listened to, compared to a few other firms I had spoken to. Matthew spoke to me calmly and took time out to listen to my situation carefully and ensured I would be matched with a solicitor who had the relevant expertise. I am extremely grateful to have had Louise Maynard represent me, in particular her understanding, support, professionalism and assistance was second to none, in what was a difficult and protracted settlement. Louise was available at hand and this was very reassuring particularly when I was abroad. Louise was extremely professional but also compassionate to my situation. Louise provided expert and trustworthy advice and I knew from the get go, Louise was looking out for my best interests. Although it took a little longer than it should have done (at no fault of Louise) Louise made sure that there was a swift resolution whilst ensuring my rights were preserved and that I would have the best outcome.
