Avoid This Firm – Overpriced and Unethical!
I had the misfortune of dealing with Farani Taylor Solicitors, and it was an absolute rip-off. I approached them to draft a legal letter regarding my neighbor’s scaffolding blocking my driveway, and they charged me an outrageous £1,500 for what was essentially a copy-paste job from my own WhatsApp messages!
For that price, I expected a well-crafted legal argument and professional guidance—not just regurgitated content that I had already written myself. They barely put in any effort yet billed me for over 3 hours of work, including “routine letters” and “perusal time”, which were clearly exaggerated.
To make matters worse, they took £1,700 in advance, only to later claim I was owed a refund of just £202—as if that makes up for their extortionate fees. This level of overcharging and lack of transparency is unacceptable.
If you’re looking for a solicitor who provides value for money, stay far away from this firm. They seem more interested in squeezing every penny out of their clients than actually delivering quality legal service. Total disappointment.
