I used Sherwood Solicitorsy on the recommendation of our estate agent, who says ‘he gets the job done’, which I found to be true. He answers emails super promptly and we felt very much that he’s in our corner and is willing, when needed, to be firm with the people on the other side of the transaction. On top of this, he is excellent value for money. Will definitely use next time.

I used Alex, on the recommendation of a friend, to handle the conveyancing for the sale of my property and the purchase of an ongoing property. In the past I have used a number of conveyancers and have often found them to be slow and unresponsive to my enquiries. They have nearly always required lots of prodding to get the sale/purchase over the line. This makes a stressful process immeasurably more unpleasant. Alex is the total opposite. He is responsive, proactive, does what he says on time and completes everything promptly and to a high standard. He quoted me a very reasonable price at the start of the process and this is what I paid him in the end. There were no extra charges which I've sometimes fallen afoul of with other conveyancers. I would suggest if looking for a conveyancer you will struggle to find one better than Alex and very likely to find alternatives that are nowhere near as good.
