    Review of conveyancing during a house sale

    Generally the experience was positive, the conveyancing team were professional, good at communicating status and completed the house sale in around 12 weeks. They adhered to a strict process which was good but because of this lacked some empathy especially when i raised concerns about having to read and approve legal conveyancing documentation (dating back to 1927) during the enquiry stage - I am not a legal expert. I would also have liked the app that was used, to be used in real time throughout the process and not just when completing property information, exchanging contract and completing the sale - it has the potential to be very helpful.

    Highly recommended

    On a very stressful morning before completion, I rang Thomas flavell solicitors and spoke to a polite and helpful reception staff who booked me in to be seen within the hour! I was seen promptly, a truly great experience! Highly recommend and will use again in the future if I ever need to.

    Remortgage and transfer of equity

    Again a five star experience from Thomas Flavell and Sons. We have used them many times when buying properties and decided to use them for our remortgage and transfer of equity. Cannot fault the service from Matt, Elizabeth and all of the team. Always keeping us informed and up to date with progress made. Very professional and made it a very smooth and painless exercise. Would definitely recommend.

    Disappointing

    We have used this firm many times before but never this particular solicitor. We had a completely different experience to normal. Communication was poor both with us and the vendor’s solicitor. Everything was left to the last minute. Not professional at all.
