I've had the pleasure of reviewing Hart Brown before, but that was for a different legal matter. Today I've completed the sale of my home, and the conveyancing was done by Peter Howe, with the help of Sara Evans, who helped me when Peter was away. This was a protracted transaction, and frustrating. Peter was both sympathetic and realistic. We got there in the end and Peter was kind and helpful throughout, making sure I understood my legal obligations and rights. Both Peter and Sara put themselves out to help the process along. Indeed, Peter made himself late for a family gathering in order to seal the exchange of contracts. The fees were very fair for a sale that took such a long time. I'd recommend Peter without hesitation. Thanks.

As well as Peter Howe, I've had the pleasure of dealing with Sara Evans (Legal Secretary) and Margaret Gale, who dealt with estate and probate, and later introduced me to Peter for my conveyancing. I've already recorded my high regard for Margaret, who was immensely helpful. Sara has been a delight to speak to, and Peter has dealt clearly and patiently with a protracted and frustrating sale. His advice has been shrewd and helpful. He was most considerate too in seeing through the exchange of contracts when it eventually happened. I'm very grateful.

Very happy with the service provided by our selling solicitor, Peter Howe, who was very professional and dealt with one or two problem areas effectively to progress the sale as quickly as possible. Sara Evans, his legal secretary, also provided good communication between ourselves and Peter when required. All in all, a very good service and highly recommended.

Throughout the legal complexities of dealing with our late mother's estate that included probate and the sale of her flat, we always felt that Peter Howe's professionalism, together with his colleagues' help, was always going the extra mile to ensure that at every step of the way, we were always well briefed and advised before making decisions.
