I am an associate solicitor dealing with a wide range of disputes. I have particular expertise in dealing with disputes relating to deceased estates and trusts and am a member of the Association of Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitors (ACTAPS). I also regularly advise clients in relation to commercial, construction and property-related disputes. I am comfortable working for both claimants and defendants to proposed or actual litigation and my aim is to help clients make informed decisions about their cases so that they can achieve the best possible outcome for their particular circumstances. That means considering costs with clients and the possibility of settlement at an early stage and I regularly represent clients in settlement negotiations and mediations. Where necessary however, I am confident taking matters to trial and I am regularly involved in both County Court and High Court litigation. I am based in Paris Smith's Bournemouth office but can see clients in any of our offices or remotely and I am frequently instructed by clients based elsewhere in the UK or abroad.

    Action against previous solicitor

    This was a complex and delicate matter that required a great deal of untangling in order to resolve it. This is included a detailed analysis of profits and loss on a Trust investment account that had to be agreed with the insurer's solicitor. After al engthy pursuit settlement was finally reached whick is best in the circumstances. I write on behalf as Trustee of the Trust and on behalf of my fellow Trustee.

    Contested probate

    Jason Oliver helped us with a difficult contested probate case. From the start, he inspired us with confidence.
